Easy and Quick Pizza Dough recipe
This easy pizza dough recipe is great for beginners and produces a soft homemade pizza crust.

Easy Pizza Dough recipe
Ingredients :
3.5 to 4 cups bread flour, plus more for rolling
1 teaspoon sugar
1 envelope instant dry yeast
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1.5 cups water, 110 degrees F
2 tablespoons olive oil, plus 2 teaspoons
Method :
Combine all Pizza Dough ingredients, including bread flour, yeast, kosher salt and sugar, in a mixer bowl and combine.
While the mixer is running, add water and 2 tablespoons of oil and beat until the Pizza Dough dough forms a ball.
If the dough is sticky, add additional flour, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the Pizza Dough dough forms a solid ball.
If the Pizza Dough dough is too dry, add additional water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Scrape the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently into a smooth, firm ball.
Use a large bowl and grease with the remaining 2 teaspoons of olive oil, place the Pizza Dough dough in a bowl, cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and place it in a warm place so that it doubles in size, about 1 hour.
After 1 hour, remove the Pizza Dough dough that has risen, onto the floured surface and divide into 2 equal portions. Cover each one with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let it rest for 10 minutes.

The use of bread flour in making Pizza Dough will give you a much crisper crust. If you can't find bread flour, you can replace it with all-purpose flour which will make your pizza crust chewier.
